What's in My Beach/Pool Bag??

The abundance of sunshine, the smell of sunscreen wafting through the air, it's a sure sign that summer is finally here.  But before you go to the pool or beach, I thought I'd let you guys know what's in my beach bag!

This is the beach bag that I'm currently carrying.  I got it as a free gift from Victoria's Secret and I think it's perfect for a day in the sun!

And here's the contents:

1. A beach towel
2. Face sunscreen (Neutrogena Clear Face Sunscreen)
3. Tanning oil (Banana Boat Deep Tanning Oil)
4. Spray Sunscreen (Neutrogena Beach Defense Sunscreen)
5. Sunglasses
6. Chapstick (Preferably one with an SPF)
7. Hair ties
8. Hair brush
9. Leave in conditioner (I DO NOT recommend the Garnier one pictured here)
10. Wallet
11. Magazines
12. Water
13. Headphones
14. Phone
15. Snacks
16. Lotion/Body Butter
17. Hand Sanitizer

Seasonal Trends: Summer Time Fine Nails

The 'au naturale' look is great for summer, but not for your nails!  Putting a couple coats of nail varnish on will add the finishing touch to any outfit!  Below, I along with my dear friend Hannah (nail polish aficionado) have created a foolproof list of our top 7 nail polishes we think are an essential for summer. 

(In no particular order...)

1.   Blanc by Essie

A classic white that would look flawless with a tan

2.   Sand Tropez by Essie

The perfect nude for any occasion

3.   Come Here! by Essie

A neon coral that does not disappoint 


4.   Fancy Fuchsia by Orly

A vibrant pink that adds a little 'somethin-somethin'

5.   Glowstick by Orly

A fluorescent yellow if you want to make a statement

6.   Four Leaf Clover by China Glaze

A turquoise that will leave others green with envy

7.   Butler Please by Essie

A bright blue that will get you loads of compliments
